Does the fuel consumption increase after the fitting of a FLOWTEC - intake manifold?
back
| |
At "normal" driving the fuel consumption doesn't increase, in some cases it does even reduce. This happens since the efficiency of the engine improves after the fitting of a dbilas dynamic FLOWTEC - inlet manifold. In case of longer full load drives the fuel consumption can, however, increase by up to 0.5l/100km.

Which parts does a dbilas dynamic turbo-system consist of?
back
| |
A turbo-system of dbilas consists: a Flowtec inlet manifold, Flowmaster air filter box, Flowpipe air intake, exhaust manifold, turbocharger with all hoses, intercooler with mounting plates and pipework system, larger injectors, software update for the engine control electronic, racing metal catalyst and a complete stainless high-grade steel exhaust system. In addition 2 years engine and performance guarantee.

Do the turbo-systems have warranty?
back
| |
The warranty of two years, granted by us, refers to the parts supplied by us. Thet means, if occurres a damage on the engine proved through our parts, then the damage is insured. Condition for the warranty is that the engine shows no increased oil consumption and pressure loss before the convertion.

Is the compression ratio of the engine with the turbo-systems reduced? Must an intermediate plate be used?
back

No. The compression ratio remains standard. The engine is not opened, so also no intermediate plate is used.

Which advantages does the turbo-conversion have in comparison with an engine exchange against a larger engine?
back
| |
1. The vehicle stays in the same engine displacement class. Thus no higher tax burden. 2. Instruments such as rev counter and speedometer do not have to be converted. 3. The vehicle remains fully diagnosticable. 4. The conversion takes one day, not 14 days. 5. If the car is for sale, it can be converted easily back.

Must the diagnostic lamp be disconnected in case of use of products from dbilas dynamic?
back

No. The engine electronics remains fully diagnosticable. The ecu is mapped so, that the lamp turns on only with a real malfunction.

Which advantages does the flow master sport filter box have in contrast to an open sport filter?
back
| |
The flow master is a filter box made of aluminium with a K&N filter cartridge. The filter box separates the filter from the environment, so that the engine can not suck in the warm air from the engine compartment. In addition the filter cartridge stands in the air stream, whereby this reaches into the engine almost unbraked.
